In 2010, we finally had enough. We were all either working in or living in East Vancouver and we grew tired of choosing between bitter chain-store coffee and overly acidic artisanal roasts. Sorta what the norm was becoming for the coffee scene in the city. We craved something different - smooth, earthy coffee that reminded us of Italian roots, the memory of the old school cafés where conversation flowed as richly as the espresso.

That's how Commercial Drive Coffee Company was born. Named after the main drag in Vancouver's historic Little Italy, we set out to create coffee that honors both our local roots and traditional Italian brewing philosophy.

What makes us a little different from many coffee brands that you will find on store shelves? We're proudly 100% Canadian owned and operated, with every batch roasted and packaged right here in British Columbia. We partner exclusively with local roasters to perfect our signature smooth, full-bodied blends without the bitterness.
